A few weeks ago I finished "Whisperer Out of Time". You can find this classic lovecraftian-styled tale from my wattpad page. Even though it sits firmly in the embellished gothic style, and being quite a short story, I think I succeeded relatively well in pushing the boundaries of the gothic tone without overstepping into the realm of cliches & stereotypes... although, as we know, such things are ultimately subjective, and some may disagree. Time will tell how well I did.
On the other note, I recently started a new story titled "Sophia's Theatre". Representing the same gothic style, now set in the "Old Whitend" era of early 19'th century, this short story will no doubt be a worthy continuation for "Solemnence". These two sisters of melancholy - Sophia & Deliria - truly deserve tales well-told; rather unfortunately though, it's yours truly who's been given the priviledge to convey this beautiful, sorrow-filled story of a certain fleeting amphitheatre lost in time. Again, time will tell how accurately I can channel forth its delicate essence. Perhaps, by now, I've accumulated enough skill to make at least somewhat worthwhile attempt at it. Nevertheless, as always, lacking choice, I have to proceed unconcerned of the consequences. Thank you.
